But I am going to be posting the bulk of my photos on Shutterfly with a copyright protected right click.  I am still planning on doing the primary race coverage like I always do, but now with a link at the end that leads to shutterfly instead of the mass photo gallery I had done previously.

Hopefully this will help generate some revenue for the site for equipment and expenses.

Anyway, check out the first round attempt:

Our first major attempt at posting pictures in this mannner will be Christmas.

Preview it and let me know what you guys think.

I'm already figuring out how to handle some of the differences between posting them on shutterfly vs. my site.  Should be able to get some sweet pictures at Christmas.

Didn't get a chance to look yet, but I understand why you're doing it. I've never had problems buying pics of Matt. Do what you have to do.

It's not so much the purchasing aspect, it's just that a lot of prints get put up online without my permission and I don't even get credit.  At least this way, people won't get the whole thing for free.  It will have a proof watermark on it.

Also, the Shutterfly interface will make it easier for you to purchase pictures as well.

Nick,

You can't copy and save these pics from shutterfly. So no one wil be able to use even the protected versions.

looks good. But you should put everyone's name on each pic. Also keywords, like uniform color, bike color, frame make, team, type of bike (mini, 20", cruiser, etc..) Jeez that would make it real easy to find the pics your looking for.

You're the head of the meta tag department.

I'll email you the password and you can get to work.
