Checking the race reports from the Midwest this time of year.

Obviously nothing we can do about the South and the West coast weather, but the Midwest has the same deal as us - crappy weather, short days, plenty of snow.

But, what's the deal in the Midwest that they can have all of these indoor tracks and quality racing?

Snow day rant - I'm out.

I believe it has to do with population numbers and commitment, Rad Canyon, for instance, in Utah is averaging 50-60 moto's only about 5-7 more motos indoors than regular outdoor races. What is the average moto count at any of our locals? 10-20? OR maybe folks in the midwest just have more money to spend on building rents and travel.. not quite sure..but I am thinking of moving to Salt Lake City anyway.....

Perhaps the Midwest has so many indoor tracks as everything costs less (ie:rent, taxes, electric, ect) and there is a lot more open space. Maybe it's a dollar and cents thing.

I'm sure it is.  Both myself and Tom have looked into buildings, Tom a little more seriously.  I have found that between rent/mortgage, electricity/heat, and taxes you are going to have to turn some pretty good numbers to keep the doors open.
