I was cruising the coverage page over on BMXMania.com
Props to Danny Smith. I know his mom comes on here every so often. Kid is making a name for himself, making those Super-X mains. Great job.
Other random stuff - MP3 riding for Danscomp?
Pretty low moto count.
Maris delivered a win on the more technical outdoor track.
Kelty rocking the OFR gear, taking second place. Surprised Nic Long wasn't at the top of the heap. Both Long and Kelty will be AA on the quick.
Once again, BMXMania.com for pictures and coverage. _________________ Nicholas Rauch

Matt Kelty, Tiffany Bonturno, Dougan Neil, DAMIAN CHEREPKO, Jorden Ryan, Are all part of the "09" OFR Lineup! There other rumors as well but unconfirmed. Looks like a good team...and the NBL team series will heat up with Rennon Intence, EXCALIBUR BMX all looking to be the Top Dog Team. Should be fun to watch! _________________ Bill Egdorf |

| Excalibur seems kind of fed up with the NBL after reading Vintage. |
I have talked with Bruce and he told me that he believes that the team series in the NBL is a "Joke". My hope is that he gets his team up and running for the next National and goes after the team tittle. Now that OFR is back and RENNEN INTENCE has posted great points at Christmas Things in the NBL team series may not be as much of a joke as he said it was! Also Felt Action Sports shouldn't be forgotten as they still have an arsenal of riders that can absolutely win the series! The way I'm looking at it, Things are picking up! _________________ Bill Egdorf |

i have to say it is nice to see these high quality teams competing for team titles... and it gives younger riders someting to strive to be part of also if they cant make it to pro ranks _________________ hit up HUBIES restaurant/pizzaria or their catering or wood stove shop |

I think the legitimacy of the NBL's National Team Competition was ultimately compromised last year.
On many levels. _________________ Nicholas Rauch

thanks nick for the props... dan is working his butt off and i guess its time it started paying off...
the az race was the first time we did a western location and the reasons were many... he really liked racing in fla last yr but for whatever reason the spring break for college is not coinciding w/the nbl races this yr. they are later than usual in april and as anyone knows you just cant take off in college like in hs just to go to a race. he has a really tough schedule and it just wouldnt be practical... plus az airfare was sooo cheap ( 1/2 the price of a fla ticket)we got 2 free ticket( watch your milage points folks) so it was a no brainer... we stayed w/friends, did the tourist thing to grand canyon and barrett jackson which made dad happy... lol
i can honestly say that was one of the nicest track set ups.. he said the track was so much "fun" to ride... the pro set was a little hairy when the wind kicked up( headwind in the first straight too) so many didnt commit to it till right before...which contributed to some major passing in that section.
the talent that was there was like the grands main as far as the pros go.. unbelievable....
75 degrees, nice track staff and awesome facility. |

If I was not such a moron and looked at a calender more than a couple weeks ahead, I too would have done that trip.. race the national and then hit Barrett Jackson... next year if the timing is right I will make it happen... _________________ www.baxterbmx.com |

No problem. Good to see the Northeast kids hang.
I would have definitely made the trip if I would have known I had a three day weekend. I am definitely going to do a better job planning trips next weekend. _________________ Nicholas Rauch
