I'm no personal trainer by any means, but I think I know enough about exercising to get ya going. Check out that link I gave you to my gym, see what you think.

I have been getting advice from the national # 1 in my class 35-40 nov. and he gets his info from the NY Islanders trainer and some from Greg Hill. He says that the absolute key is Core strength. Get the core solid and the rest will follow. There are several books specific to core strengthening.

Get a set of rollers and an exercise bike.

Start doing sit-ups / crunches, pushups, pull ups, plyos.

This you could do at home and wouldn't cost you more than a couple hundy.

Tom,

So whose the top nov that gave you advice? And why is he still the top nov and not ex yet?

I remember something Greg Romero said in Coach's Corner that I like to quote.

he said; no matter how crazy your work out is, if you put the time and effort into reaching a goal, you will get results.

That has always kinda been my father's mantra too, and after years of trying to beat that into my head, it finally started sinking in. haha

dude, don't joke about the yoga. Like I just said, if you put time and effort towards a goal.... Hasn't Steve ever showed you that stuff that he does to work on balance? stupid little stuff that probably anybody could do, but I think it helps
