Here are some photos from '82 to '86, mostly taken at a track that was in Liverpool, NY. Onondaga BMX was where my racing career started and then went on hiatus for 17-18 yrs. It feels good to be back in the saddle again. I know there are a bunch of '80's bmxers out there who will probably enjoy these as well as know some local riders. Some photos look great and a few aren't so good. Please enjoy them and respond or post some of your own.
Jeff
hope you enjoyed some of my collection. as soon as I find the rest i will post them.

Great pics Jeff. They bring back a lot of memories, especially of Onondaga track. I don't have any full pics of the track so it was really good to see some pics from different angles. Kind of funny, we were probably there a lot at the same time and never met each other.
I like the bike pics too. That Powerlite was nice. So funny how they used to be set up all short front to back and tall bars. I had a friend who had those bars, and I think you either loved or hated the bend in them.
I am building an old school bike now. I have bought 2 Robinson frames over the last few weeks. They are not as old as I want and are early 90s and mid 90s (will get rid of this one). The frame/fork closest to my year is on ebay now for 300. That's a bit too much for me. One of the frames I got is old school enough, chrome is very good condition and most important I think the geometry is really close if not the same as the olders 80s versions - short 19" top tube. I've got various other things coming too, Araya rims (need to be stripped & restored) brand new Suzue hubs, and more. Ebay is like crack to me now. I've got to get off it!
Did you know Chris Blennis?
This link at VintageBMX is a thread about Cool Tool raceway in Rochester. But some of the thread has been hijacked with EBA stuff, naturally since the EBA overlapped the Roch area. The page in the link has a pic of the Schwinn national team all Syracuse guys -Wayne's 2 sons, Rory Thorpe, Andy Lee and Dave Bauer.
