April, your portion of the Fund Raiser donations...do you want me to turn it in under your name, or half in each of the kids' names?

P.S. The Relay meeting is during the 4-H meeting time. So I won't be at 4-H...David is taking the girls so I can go turn in the donation stuff tonight.

Any and all donations that ya'll want me to turn in need to be to me before Tuesday. That will be the last meeting pre-relay.

Thank you Jennifer for your donation/purchase/support!

Did I give you Mom's survivor form?  She is taking off work to be there.  She is a ten year survivor.

No you didn't. You were going to get it to me with the rest of anything you collected, I believe.

PS. CALL ANDORA! Get the phone number to the main dude! (I think his name is Tony?) Call them directly to get your mom registered for the meal. I know we're running out of time to get everything ordered on time. They'll take the order/signing up via just giving them the info and I can drop off paperwork at the last meeting next week.

2009 Themed Laps

Chariot Race

Mr. Relay

Box Car Race

50's Lap

Air Guitar Contest

Rock Relay

Rock Star Lap

Rock Hunt

Disney Lap

Hula Hoop Lap & Contest

PJ Lap

Balloon Lap

Flintstones Stone Age Lap

Chariot Race: No wheels. Ideas include a laundry basket, etc. Include rope for the "horse" to pull it with.

Misster Relay: Judged on their Talent, Answers to the interview questions, & their dress

Box Car Race: 1 person, wearing the car, running around the track. Idea: a dressed out box with a way for the "driver" to carry it on them.

50's Lap: I am thinking this is the lap we'll have the girls in their poodle skirts.

Air Guitar: Participant needs to bring their own song/music CD to perform to.

Rock Relay: Tony will provide the Rocks. It will be like the Apple Game where one person holds the apple under their chin and relay it to another person by the next person getting it from them without using their hands/arms

Rock Hunt/Scavenger Hunt: Tony will provide the things needed for this

Disney Lap: Self explanatory

Hoola Hoop: Self explanatory

PJ Lap: Self explanatory

Balloon Lap: Tony will provide one package of balloons per team. Balloons stuffed into a garbage bag worn by a team participant.

Flintstones Lap: Can anyone be a Flintstones Character?

Also:
No Wheels for any of the laps.

They will also have rocking chairs for those who can't walk the event. To be counted they need to be rocking through the event.

Our camp is going to be decorated with the 50's theme reusing the decorations from the Sock Hop. Any help getting the camp set up will be greatly appreciated. I believe set up will begin about 3 in the afternoon.

PS I do not own ANY camping gear. I do have 2 folding chairs & 1 cooler.

One more P.S.

Sorry I sort of dropped the ball on attending the meetings this past month. The meetings landed on the same time/night as the girls Rifle Team practice. In the beginning I was able to drop the girls off and tag-team David to stay with them until it was over freeing me up to head to Relay meeting...but then work requirements kept David from being able to get there. So I had to stay with the girls for their practices. So sorry team. :(

Christine, can you still take money?  If so, let me know how I can get some to you.

Yes! You can still sponsor our team. You can either use a credit card and just follow the directions on our group's Relay webpage: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=team&fr_id=17607&team_id=439040

Or we can get together and I can take a cash donation.

I will be at PE this week on Tuesday & Thursday (1:30 - 2:20) and the rest of the week I will be staying home. Just let me know if we need to meet up somewhere.
