Is the avatar feature only for those with websites? If not, how do I go about showing one please? _________________ mea culpa |

Under the profile option, at the bottom you are allowed to put up an avatar; however, it cannot be larger than 80X80 Pixels. _________________ I run a student organization.. You can call me El Presidente. |

Thanks. How do I go about doing that? My avatar is on my hard drive, but my computer is online all the time. _________________ mea culpa |

Unfortunately on this type of forum you can't post any pictures that are on your personal computer. It has to be from an online source.
I use photobucket.com it is a free service in which you can store literally thousands of pictures. Just place your avatar in there and then in your profile on this forum link to it (photobucket provides various types of URLs with each picture you place in there)
Another good reason to use a service like photobucket is that if your computer crashes or you get a virus that wipes out everything on your computer all your pictures will still be there as they are not on your computer. _________________ Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable: John F Kennedy |
