Casino Yes!
Last night I saw Casino Royale, and I have to say, in my life time, it's the best one I've ever seen. Unlike the roles played by Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig makes the movie enjoyable -- it's more about him, his talent and his falibility. The gadets are much less prominent and take a secondary role to his ass-kicking and womanizing. To put it simply, it was fun and I didn't want to get up. The characters are all wonderfully done, and it play to ethnic or national stereotypes at all. I think this is the best of the recent James Bond series.
To put in Jame's terms: That last hand nearly killed me.
Definitely a go see. _________________ I run a student organization.. You can call me El Presidente. |

As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short--just saw this one on "On Demand" cable about two weeks ago. Craig is wicked good. Ever seen him in a British gangster film called "Layer Cake"? Good in that, too. _________________ "The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." L. P. Hartley, The Go-Between |
