I've never once seen an episode. I've always gotten mixed reviews about it, and since I don't have HBO, nor can I afford it, I don't really know what to expect... What was I missing? _________________ I run a student organization.. You can call me El Presidente. |

I didn't get the ending. Meadow walks into the restaurant and the screen goes blank.
What the hell kind of finish is that? _________________ Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable: John F Kennedy |

It was certainly a surprise!! I've definitely seen worse series endings, esp. Seinfelds!! _________________ 18-1...Looks good on them!!! |

Largs, you're not the only one who went "WTF?" I think half of America is ready to tar and feather David Chase, the producer.
I actually kind of liked the "write your own ending" aspect of it. Himself on the other hand was quite miffed. _________________

When you think about it, everyone who followed it had an opinion on how it should end, and everyone was speculating on how it would end. Several of the pundits I've read have refered to the flashback Tony has where Bobby wonders if you see it coming, and the last scene of Meadow heading towards the diner may be seen through Tony's eyes just below taking one in the brain. Ya have to admit, it leaves the possibility open of a movie or series in a few years that tells us what happens and continues on with a) Tony in jail, b) Tony in the witness protection program, c) the remaining characters dealing with the fallout of Tony's exectution.
I thought it was a pretty good way to end a great show.

I too thought WTF. I think the Sopranos aren't done yet. It was nice to see Phil get one in the head though. He has to respect that at least. _________________ Strangers have the best candy. |
