| I still belong to 3 msn websites. I almost never go there but today I did. They won't let me log on usless I give up all personal information. Is this MSN or some nut? |

It could be MSN. They have a lot of Glitches in the system. I wouldn't advise giving personal info on the web though.
I will try to find out if anyone else is having problems.
In the meantime I would just wait a couple of days to see if the problem goes away by itself. _________________ Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable: John F Kennedy |

I just gave them all bogus info for the sign-in to find out what they wanted. It looks to be for real. They want to give me a net passport in exchange for the ability to spam me for the rest of my life. I cancelled the sign-up, but it looks to me that msn wants household info in exchange for use of their boards hence the net passport.
The questions asked were: birth day
occupation
number of kids in home
country, postal code
They obviously are not running forums out of the goodness of their heart. No big loss for me, but alot of people are wedded to msn boards |

| I didn't get that problem, but when I first got my MSN passport many many years ago, I just gave them bogus information and didn't sign up for anything they asked me to sign up for. They've been good with respecting my privacy. I've never received a single message from them, and they didn't sell my address because I receive about one spam message a week, give or take. And that's without running a spam filter. |

They did that to me too, asking way too many questions. I've totally given up on MSN. _________________ 18-1...Looks good on them!!! |

mittens,
They don't give you a choice. You either take their advertising or you don't get on MSN boards. It isn't one of those things where you unclick checked boxes. |

| That's weird. I didn't have that problem when I signed up. Though, that was many, many moons ago. There should be an option that says "skip this" or "no, thanks". I can't think of a single thing I've signed up for that didn't have that option. Sure, it's in fine print, in the corner, but it's always there. |
