Mike Harris spells out what is wrong and what needs to be done. Now that he has pointed out the obvious you can guarantee it will not be done, just because he said it.

Thats why its known as morontario. Mike Harris = slash and burn, Bob Rae = new hope for liberals to form government.

I always thought Mike Harris was the best thing to happen to Ontario since the 1967 stanley cup playoffs!! I'm amazed that people forgot the Rae days!!

What I can't believe is that the federal Liberals REALLY think Bob Rae represents political star power.

He might be a nice guy, he might be intellectually accomplished, he might mean well....but that doesn't make "Prime Minister Bob Rae" palatable.

Bob Rae obviously sees himself as a political star, but it remains to be seen if the Liberals do too. At the end of the day, he may end up being nothing more than a legend in his own mind.

"I wasn't such a bad Premier!"

I sense the title of an upcoming autobiography in there.

He seems to be running on a platform of "I fucked up once, and learned a lot, so now you should trust me``

I don't know whether John Tory was a better suited candidate in the Ontario elections, but it seems now that the current administration's objectives run counter to the path that Ontario needs to take. Though, this may be a good time for the government to make structural changes to the economy, help re-educate former manufacturing workers for other sectors of the economy, balance the budget, etc. It seems that during peak economic times, governments are less willing to take measures to protect or insulate the economy, probably for fear of f*king things up. I have the distinct impression that most politicians know very little about management and administration.

A politicians main area of expertise is getting elected. If they screw up and get re-elected they were just rewarded for screwing up and will continue to do so.

LOL............sounds as though you are applying child psychology to politicians..............That is a novel approach that probably needs greater consideration.
