I thought you were just mad at me.
We have 4 of MLW's seriously redneck friends coming in Friday morning. The neighbours are still talking about their last visit 2 years ago.
All the best to you and yours this 4th.

Thank you, gentlemen. We will endeavor to enjoy ourselves without the constables coming to call. The extended family on my mother's side is getting together Saturday, but I doubt that there will be serious ruckus--most of us have quit drinking.
Buddha, they aren't bringing the Stars and Bars and cases of Jack Black with them, are they? _________________ "The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." L. P. Hartley, The Go-Between |

Last time they forgot to take out the handgun under the drivers seat. No kidding. I've seen a few confederate flags in their homes and on a belt buckle or 2, but I don't think they have one in/on their SUV. I think they are just bringing beer, but I have been informed we are watching NASCAR Saturday night.

Oh, I believe you. I know I'd go armed to London, Ontario. _________________ "The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." L. P. Hartley, The Go-Between |

I burned hydrocarbons just for the hell of it on Canada Day. It was great.
Maybe someone not remotely related to me will feel environmentalist guilt on my behalf several generations hence. |

I don't think anyone will notice in Winnipeg, what with all the car theft you;ve told us about. _________________ "The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." L. P. Hartley, The Go-Between |

How can it be wrong to do my bit to raise the winter temperature from -35 to -34.993 here? How can that possibly make me a bad person?
I think it's time Vancouver started caring about Winnipeg and not the other way around. Selfish bastards. |

Happy fourth MW. I spent Canada Day drinking and unpacking in my newer (and smaller) apartment. It was a great day-- love the new apartment, AND, I got to drink in Westmount, publically!

Thank you, Phillippe. We will endeavor to enjoy ourselves...perhaps not as much as Buddha and the gang will be. _________________ "The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there." L. P. Hartley, The Go-Between |
