So now....charity fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is unworthy because
"it has recently been revealed to affect white people and primarily men".
The above is a quote from the Carleton University students union, justifying their decision to drop fundraising for CF.
Students drop cystic fibrosis charity drive
The facts that
a) they're wrong - CF affects primarily kids, and of all races
b) they're now "reconsidering" their decision
c) they're just an irrelevant student union body
are all irrelevant. If this incident doesn't clearly spell out, once and for all, just how far divorced from reality left-wing politically correct thought is, I don't know what will.
