Just that I wold share. I was really impressed with the power the new '08 made. It put 396 to the wheels and with some better gas will bump over the 400rwhp mark. This car is bone stock with only a CAI and about 1500 miles.

Those are some great numbers coming from a practically stock Vette. Was it an auto. or 6-speed.

It's a manual trans. Z51 package. Looks like headers and a cam will be going on shortly, that should put it around 470rwhp (mild cam). This car is capible of 500rwhp with cam and headers, he just doesn't want a radical cam.

Not too bad on the numbers. Now if I can only find a way to upgrade my ride to an 08'........

Do you know if they are going to make it to the drag racing day on the 30th? I'm curious to see what kind of numbers she puts down.

I'll ask him, we just did him MSD plug wires today. Headers and H/X pipe will be next, then the cam.

Installed LG headers and exhaust and a little tuning Wednesday for some new #'s. It made 410/411 to the wheels with the catted system. Not bad at all for a stock vette with only headers CAI and tuning.

Can anyone recommend a "good Z06" mechanic in the Wilmington area? Need the rear end fluid changed.
