Retail gift card is one of the most useful trade tools today, with the increase in the use of it during holiday seasons. Cleaning businesses, at first, may see the idea of gift certificates inappropriate for them. However, they can actually use it as part of their marketing strategy and use it to increase the earning of the business. The ability of recurring service again and again for certain considerations is the basis of cleaning business. One issue about choosing gift certificate as an option that involves the cleaning service business and the holder of the gift certificate is that they do not have the same sense of value and expectation related to the certificate. A solution to this problem regarding gift certificates for cleaning business includes the following ways.

1. Asking questions to the buyer about the conditions of the area of the gift certificate receiver so that the service provider will be able to approximate the services it will give, which is are to be presented adequately during redemption.

2. Suggesting regarding the gift certificate-service correspondence or how much service a certain gift certificate can acquire so that the buyer will be able to acknowledge the limitations of his or her purchase, preventing too much expectation soon.

3. Communicating with the clients, the specific services offered in the gift certificate so that they will be able to know the limitations of what they have in their budget; to be able to know what to prioritize according to what the buyers need and what they have in hand.

By doing the above ways, cleaning businesses may realize how useful the gift certificate as a tool for increasing their market and for producing repeat clients from the recipients of gift certificates.
