Fr. Donald Cozzens wrote a wonderful book entitled "Spirituality of the Diocesan Priest." It is a collection of essays in which 12 priests, including 4 bishops, reflect on the spirituality of the diocesan priest from their personal and pastoral experience.
If you don't have this book, kindly get one. Reading of this book is a must. It's very enlightening.
