To the Future

I like to Thank everybody for their support and hard work over the last couple of years, it is that that has made my job as the CAB, Inc. President as enjoyable as it has been.  Now I must inform you that the Executive Committee has excepted my resignation.  As some of you may know several months ago I accepted the position of Vice President of the Arkansas Deer Hunters Alliance.  At the time I didn't fully understand the amount of my time it would take or how badly it would interfere with my duties with the CAB, Inc.  Unless they decided on something different, I believe according to the By-Laws, Robert Fortner will fill my position till my term was to expire which will be September at which time new nominations will be made.  I will continue to operate this message board for the CAB, Inc. and be it's Administrator as long as CAB, Inc. wants to use it as a forum for communication.  I also would like to wish the best and continued growth to the CAB, Inc. as I begin my new venture in helping protect the sport and game we all love.

Glenn, hasn't gotten away , he can do more for our club through ADHA . The furure of deer hunting in Arkansas is very important to us and we know Glenn is the right man for the job.Even at this early stage ADHA has become more active than any other group i know of in protecting our deer hunting . It is also the best way i know to bring bow hunters and gun hunters together to protect what we both love so much.I encourage everyone to join ADHA we really need to be ready when the anties come to our state, everyone thinks it could never happen here or someone else will take care of it, don't be one of those guys be active in as many hunting organizations as you can and you and your children can enjoy hunting more and larger deer forever

I guess I'm going to have to whup him, he ain't told me he wasn't the president anymore, he's my brother in law how could he not say something about that.  I do know he has really sunk his teeth into this ADHA thing and has even gotten into a little QDM.  He;'s been on me about putting in some more foodplots and safe zones for deer and trying to get into DMAP because he thinks we may have to many doe and he may be right but right now he's out voted by the older family members so that's not going to happen anytime soon.
