How do you display them? Or do you keep them stashed away in a vault somewhere? Rolling Eyes

I don't really display my coins.  But if any friends or relatives show any interest I have all my coins in 2x2 cardboards stored in clear plastic notebook binder pages. Makes it easy to flip through and show them to people.

Most of mine are in the old blue books. Old habbites are hard to brake. I would like to upgread to the new books where you can see both sides, but that would cost a lot of cash. I allso use the 2x2's some.

Adam, No I do not display my collection. My collection is in a safe. I keep my Kennedy, Franklin, Walker and Barber Half Dollars in Dansco albums. My small dollar collections are also housed in Dansco albums. My Silver Uncirculated and proof sets are all placed in Food Saver bags and vaccume sealed. My entire set of proof ASE's are vaccume sealed and put away in a safe. Same with all Commemorative Silver and Clad coins. I know several of you frown on storing coins in food saver bags in a vaccume. Food Saver bags are safe for storage of coins, NO PVC in these bags. I have been storing my Silver Proofs this way for years, and I never have had a problem with Milk Spotting on my Silver. The coins are placed in airtight holders before being placed in the foodsaver bag. The coin never touches any plastic. No moisture, no humidity and no problems.  Very Happy  daffy

I used to keep all of my coins locked in a safe. about every 6 to 8 monthes I would drage them out to look at them, but I didn't enjoy them like I wonted. So now I keep mine in a book shelf in the liveing room. I know someone could still them but most people just think they are a buch of books. Did I tell you I have 3 very large Bull Dogs that stay in the house with me. My sister who lives next door will not even come in my house. HeHeHe

I keep most all of my coins in Whitman Classic albums and have them sitting on my bookshelf in my den. There's not many people that go in there. The door locks from both sides so I dont have to worry about kids. My more expensive coins go in my safe and is hidden away in my secret place.

Hey indianhead, good to "see" you. This place has pretty much died. We are all posting over at www.coindealerratings.com
There is an area for rating coid dealers, coin supplies, etc.
But there is also a full forum which is fairly active. We'd love to see you over there. If you have time to sign up and start posting, then come on over.
