Hi,
The name is Steven. I have bounced around a few sites and saw this one. Hope you don't mind me jumping in. I'm into Lincoln cent varieties mostly but have only been collecting for a few years. I'm always looking for more information.

Thanks

Hi Colin,
I have been collecting mostly copper but have a bit of silver as well nothing to go on about though. I enjoy the hunt for mistakes by the mint and the most frequent seems to be with the copper.
Other than coins there doesn't seem to be much that interests me enough to collect. For now anyway.
If animals count I have four dogs, two cats and a bunch of crazy squirrels running around in the yard.
Oh yeah I got a few bottles too, not much.

Steven

Welcome Steven! There are several of us from Missouri here. That is a very cool bottle you've got there.

coinlover,
I'm in Festus quite often. Mostly visiting JMH or just passing through to STL. I have also been to most of the banks there attempting to get boxes of coins.
Adam,
I have a couple more of the Mountain Dews I'll post those in the bottle section. Glad to see there are several from Missouri here.
Thanks for the welcome.

Steven,
You should try roll searching nickels as well. I would keep anything before 1960, plus there are plenty of errors and varieties.

Oh, and that's a nice bottle you got there!

Colin,
I have quite afew nickels in my collection. I especially like the Liberty Heads but it seems hard for me to get them in a decent condition. This is probably the best looking one I have.

I was beginning to think there wasn't anyone nearby that cared about collecting coins.

In case you didn't know, there are several coin shows in St. Louis or St. Charles every year. The next one, I beleive, is the 27th-29th of this month. I'm pretty sure I'm going to make it this time. I plan to pick up a coin just to give away in a contest here too.

I would be nice to have a calender here or a section for listings of coin shows. I usually find out after they have already happened.
