This is a 1913D Type 1 Buffalo, it has some kind of discoloration that looks like it is running down the obverse and reverse of the coin. I didn't want to mess with it due to the lack of wear. Though it might be better with it than to take a chance on damage.
Anyone care to give it a grade.

Hard to grade the luster remaining from photo, but a very nice strike. I'll guess either high AU or low Ms. Nice coin.

That's a nice coin. Any Buffalo on which I can see the full horn looks great to me. |

I'd get it checked out, it may be PVC and that should be cleaned off--carefully. |
