For me personally, it was a dateless buffalo. The oldest one with a date was a 1939 jefferson. My experience is limited though. I haven't searched massive quantities of roll, and most of what I have searched is nickels. What about you? _________________ -Adam |

also found a 1927 (CDN) nickel about 6 weeks ago, which would be my oldest nickel. |

Adam,
Yeah nice, if not for that little hit to the rim showing on the reverse. I think it you might be able to see it on that photo.

Yeah, I can barely see it. Still, for a roll, very nice! _________________ -Adam |

Not long ago I found a 1912 wheatie in a roll, in F condition. Years ago I received a 1897 IHC in change, it was a cousin of the one Steven shows in this thread. |

I just started roll searching again. In my first 4 rolls of pennies, there was a 1956.
I have found earlier coins including 1920's but I have been at it for many years. This is the oldest this year. _________________ Wildlander

I'm not sure but it was either 1906 or 07 Indian. I have been looking for many years also. And before Phoenix can say it, no I did not get it new when I was a kid. |

LOL, but of course the real question here is if you found it while cleaning your room. |

I don't think Phoenix will ever live that down, now. I'll certainly do my part to keep it alive! LOL |

Lol, I'm hurt you would think such a thing! I wouldn't think you were that old! Probably was an AU or something when you got it, but certainly not new!

Lol, hey! Watch it! LOL. Be neat if I found an indian head in my room. Hmmm, might need cleaning again!

Lol, you sure do! Hmm, maybe I should talk to coinlover more about getting rid of you! LOL, only joking. Or am I?
BTW, my oldest find would be a 1909 Wheat cent, in G-4 condition. AND NO TOPHER I DID NOT FIND IT IN MY ROOM! LOL.

Searched through a box of Lincoln Cents last weekend, found a 1911 cent in nice good condition. Still have half a box to go through. Daffy _________________ A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.
