Went through a box yesterday and today. Jumped for joy when a 1936 Buffalo in Fine popped up. Cannot remember seeing one in circulating in coinage for years. Elation was reinforced by a another roll which turned out a Swiss 20 rappen, 1947, in AU. Also 12 pre-1959 Jeffersons, including a 1940 and 1940-S.
Never knew this but the 20 rappens are exactly the same diameter as US nickels. Weigh about 0.1 g less. |

Ha ha, I went back the next day and they were out of boxes! Sometimes it doesn't take much to tap them out. Oh well, next month I'll have time time search more. |

I get the same problem, but now they know to save me a box every week. Sometimes I'll switch it up. One time I took $100 in dimes because they didn't have a box of nickels and ended up getting two silver dimes. (bad news was they were both in the first roll, so it was downhill after that!) |

At least you got the two. I searched several boxes of dimes before getting tired of it and finding only one silver. Dimes are just too small, hard to re-roll. |

And the dates on Canadian dimes are awfully small. I just did it for something different and I'm glad I did. I rarely find silver in the dimes, only 8 dimes in the last two years, conveniently 7 of them with different dates! |
