Great coins De Orc, looks like you've got a bit of a type set going! I don't know much about them either, but the history of the Ptolemaic empires is quite fascinating. Alexander the Great's pillaging of Darius's gold treasury and subsequent distribution of wealth to his generals promoted a previously unknown degree of trade and prosperity of most of the 'known' world. |
