· Quote

I understand that Cents were made in 1973 and 1989 with no VDB on the shoulder of Lincoln. I have found several 1973 but no 1989. Does anyone look for these. They don't bring no big premium. I think the 73 is worth 0.10 cents and the 89 is worth 0.25 cents. Best daffy Very Happy

Lol. I've also heard about that on some 1955 cents. I think it's from an over polished die. Neat, but can get bothersome to hold on too. Unless they are wheats. Found a bunch of 1909 wheats missing the VDBs, but don't think they are errors. Mr. Green

Hey phoenix, that is correct, they made 1909 with VDB, and without the VDB  on both the plain and S Mint coins.  The one's with VDB cost more.
best, daffy Very Happy
