and I think I made some nice buys. I got:
8 rolls of wheats (will let everyone know what I find from them, got these for $14)
My first Franklin half, a 57 D, in BU condition for $13.50
A nice looking 1956 PR Gem Full steps for $4
and a BU 1968 S full steps for $2
So I think I got some okay deals. All of them I got because I liked them, and wanted some. So wasn't a half bad day. Thanks for reading!

When I was living in New Jersey, there was a good dealer at the flea market that I frequented. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a drive from Delaware. The flea market was the only place where he sold coins. He doesn't have a shop or even sell online. He sets up at the Route 70 flea market on Saturdays if anyone is from NJ and interested. _________________ Knowledge...the key to collector success!

What kind of cois does he sell? Or does he have an assortment of coins? I go to NJ sometimes and would be neat to have a look.

He sells a little of everything. All of the coins that I saw were raw. I bought a bunch of Barber halves, Indian Head cents, and some other silver. He also had some Morgans and Peace and I think I remember some proof and mint sets. _________________ Knowledge...the key to collector success!

Here is the info on the flea market. They are located in Lakewood. It's really a cool flea market.

They really don't have any good ones here in Dover. There's a place called Spence's, but it's not like when we were in NJ and there were a bunch to pick from. I just love rooting through other people's junk. At least there are plenty of yard sales here, so I can get my "fix" that way. _________________ Knowledge...the key to collector success!

Thanks for the info! Looks really awesome. I'll have to check them out. I have a place similar here, (called the Antique Depot) and is really neat. Thanks for the info!

Which one? I think there are a few, but could be mistaken. What kind of coins do you look for at flea markets? I love them, you can find some nice buys most of the time.

Oh, we dont go to Philly for the flea markets, we take our son there to the Childrens Hospital a few times a year. I do happen to go to a few of them here locally where I live. They're nothing real big. We were in California last year and went to one, no coins there though, just alot of Mexicans selling crafts and food. Very good tacos there....somewhere close to Fresno. |

Thanks. I really like them, they have an awesome appearance, especially the proof nickel.

Oh, sorry to hear that. What is wrong with him? The tacos are awesome, I don't know if I have been there by Fresnos though.

My son has cerebal palsey as a result of a birth injury. Its a long story but the doctors were negligent. We went through the whole malpractice lawsuit thing and ended up with a pretty good settlement for him. So, a few times a year we're going to different Childrens hospitals for different things. Its been Philadelphia alot lately. We've been to Philly, Pittsburgh and Hershey quite a bit with him. Thanks for asking Phoenix.
edited to fix quote
