· Quote

Hello guys,

I found a 1982 d cent the other day in a roll.

It has been struck then flipped, stuck again , rotated and struck. Its been stuck 3-4 times.

It has doubleing of letters. has letters backards....I wonder how letters can be stuck backward...Im thinking maybe another coin went in ontop if it and got stuck.

Ive never seen anything like it.
I was trying to get a good pic of it my camera is not good enough Im trying to source a camera..

Im thinking it could be very valuable what do you guys think?

Thanks,
Chad

sounds like what you have is a hammered coin. someone that wants a cent that looks like an error put another cent on top of the 1982 one and then hammered them so that the design would be one both coins. some people on ebay try to sell them as valuable errors and rip people off. the only way to know for sure is for a picture to be posted of the coin.

coincollector101, As coinlover stated, it's a hammered coin. Scumbags will put these coins in a vise and press different images onto the coin, and then try to pass them on as errors.  Evil or Very Mad
