Well I went to a couple banks today and picked up all the halves they had (21.50) I found 1 40% silver and was able to fill many slots in my folder.

I also got two rolls of nickels and found a 41, 55, and a 58.

I really enjoyed the hunt and will be going back soon for more.

In my opinion, one of the most productive roll searches is in nickels.  With patience you can fill the better part of a complete Jefferson collection without spending more than face value.

The Lincoln Cents for me are the most rewarding coins to be searched, if you can find coins that has not been searched. Check with Friends, Family, Aunt's/Uncles, inlaws. Everyone has jars of unsearched pennies and some good coins can be found if searched.  My sister in law has 2 gallon jars of pennies waiting for me. I'm looking foreward to that trip to Florida.  Very Happy  daffy

I like nickels best. Kennedy's are nice also.  I used to really be into the Lincolns but have slowed up on them the last few years. Maybe I will start them again.

Hey man, congrats! Nickels are awesome to search, can find a lot of nice dates! Lincolns are my passion at the moment, but won't find the dates I need from circulation. Wink Keep it up!
