Hey Guys!
Took the weekend off, no Roll searching this weekend. Went to the Flea-Market and was searching through Mint sets. Most of the older sets were badly tarnished and heavy toned. I searched for 2 hours and found 4 sets that looked nice. I picked up another 1965 Special Mint Set. I want you guys to tell me that the Kennedy in that set is not sweet. Mirrored background and almost cameo. I got these sets for under $20.00. Dealer discounted them because envelopes were damaged or missing. The 65 Special mint set had no envelope. I wish I had a good camera to shoot that Kennedy with. It looks just like a proof coin. Check out scans of todays purchase. Enjoy daffy

Well Daffy looks like you have done perty good once again. The only flea-market around close to me only has one coin dealer. The last time I was there I over heard him tell one of his buddys that he had just got some Franklin's in and he needed to look them over and clean them up before he put them out to sell. I don't think I would like doing business whith this guy. |

Hey David, I think they all dip dirty, tarnished coins. You never see black silver coins in dealers shops because simply put, they won't sell. Bright-White silver coins sell. Many dealers do not consider dipping as cleaning. They want to call it preservation. Best, daffy _________________ A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.

I'm trying to assemble a set of uncirculated coins from 1959-2008. I have the last 23 years in original mint sets that are nice clean sets. I need a few more sets from the early Eighties and a few more from the Seventies. I only have 3 sets from the sixties. It's hard to find clean sets from the sixties and seventies that dont have spotting, ugly toneing and carbon spots on them. daffy _________________ A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.
