Cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, dollars, pfennings, schillings, reales, yen, baht, euros, pesos?
I've been a half dollar dude for about a year and a half now. I'll probably change my mind eventually though. I tend to do that occasionally.
So, how bout you guys? Whats your favorite denomination of coin? And why?

My favorite is the dong, lol.

For US coins, I seem to spend more time with dimes than anything else, second would be cents.

I'd say cents were my favorite. But I really like them all- US, World, Ancient... I  like the infinite variety of coins available and the history that goes along with them.

The Franklin Half Dollar is my favorite coin. I love the Liberty Bell on the reverse. Back in the early 60's, everyone had a Walker or Franklin in their pocket. The Half dollar just went "POOF" after 1964.  Very Happy daffy

Very Happy Thats a hard one I will collect about any thing but snakes. I like old silver such as the Morgan and the Liberty and Barber to look at. But they are hard to come by. Ben Franklin Half Dollar. Franklin was a Scientist, Printer, Inventor, Signer of the Declaration Of Independence. A very brilliant mind for someone who completed the 5th grade. The Liberty Bell reverse is about as American as it gets.  My Favorite Ben Franklin Quote "Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
Benjamin Franklin"  Very Happy  daffy

I like that Ben Franklin quote.  He did have a good sense of humor from what I've heard.  I will be reading a biography of him sometime this year, just finished reading one on George Washington.
