hi everyone! decided to buy some old soda bottles yesturday. me and my mom went to an antique store and looked around. i bought a Sun-drop soda bottle. it has green glass and the lable is white with orange letters. i bought it for $1. i think the date is 1974. it has thick glass. i also bought a 1974 mountain dew bottle. it is also green with white and orange and green letters. i bought this one for $1.25. and the last bottle i bought is a 1964 7up bottle. it is also green and has orange and white lettering. i also bought it for a $1. i bought a 1976 pepsi can too. it is celebrating the bicentinal. i bought this for a $1 also. and the last thing i bought is a pure copper cup. it is copper colored and says pure copper on the bottom. i have never seen anything like this before so i bought it. this cost me $6.75. since its pure copper, the value will go up on it. i am going to weigh it and see much copper it has in it. well, i had a pretty good day yesterday! does anyone else like to collect these kinds of things? i do because bottles are cheap and neat to look at.

Not bad buys. I personally don't collect them, but others probably do. Could you post some pics of them? They sound pretty neat.

We have a big wooded area on our property, I guess it used to be lived before we moved in? But me and my neighbor went out looking for old stuff like bottles. I have a really big collection of them in a tree house. I have found a mt. Dew bottle like the one you described. Can you post pics of the ones you bought so i can see if it is in fact the kind i found.

Wow, that is nice! Does it hurt a bottles value if you clean it like a coin?
