Here is a story about one special yoshi named Yitoshi... enjoy!
One day Mario was riding on a yuaght with Luigi and Princess Peach. Then suddenly the day began to grow darker. "Hey whats going on?" asked Mario "I don't know, but it looks bad!" replied Luigi Suddenly, "Crash! Bang! Kapow!" The boat ran right into a rock. "Hey how did that get there? Oh my"- but Mario was cut short when he saw that an island had just appeared out of the mist. "Do you see that island!" We have to sail ashore, maybe we can find shelter there!" yelled Luigi. They got some supplies and headed into the jungle. There were monsters of every kind. Pihranah Plants, Goombas', Native Shy Guys' and Cheep Cheeps. Suddenly from behind, "Raaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Run its a giant Koopa!" yelled the Princess. They ran as fast as they could to get away. "Hey doesn't this island look a tad familiar?" asked Mario "Now that I think about it yeah it does seem like we've been here before!" replied Luigi They walked deeper and deeper into the jungle until they came to a spot with beach-like qualities accept there were many mini mountains about as big as a person and spider/cob webs swinging from mountain to mountain. They walked causiously around until, "Crack," Mario stepped on a skull of some kind. He picked it up and examined it. It was a Yoshi's skull! There at the middle of the beach was a shrine and in the shrine was a warp gate. Inside the gate/portal there could see what looked like Yoshis' running and dancing around while holding two babies, Mario and Luigi looked closer at the babies. It was them! Mario jumped through the gateway and found him-self face to face with him-self. "I'm coming Mario!" yelled There they were with many Yoshis and found that the island looked younger and healthy. There were no vast deep jungles just young healthy forests. The cheif Yoshi said "Who are you? Why have you come to our sacred land?" "Sacred? This place is a natural death trap! said Luigi Princess Peach. They were taken to the shrine and told to look into it. "What do you see" they asked "We see this place long from now but you are extinct!" said the three of them. "Extinct?" they screamed "Why such a horrid fate?!?, wiat do you see what made us extinct?" they asked. "No, wait yes! I see a comet hitting here five days from now!" yelled Mario. They knew what must be done. Mario and Princess Peach calmed all of the Yoshis' down while Luigi loaded then onto the large boat. The days past spring turned to summer, summer to autum and the Yoshis' are still here.

When Bowser had heard of what happened he was furiated. "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! I was the one who sent the comet that would've made them extinct! Now the Mario Bros. are in my way again?" he yelled "No, no not this time. This time I'll extermanate those plumbers and those stupid Yoshis'! Mwah hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Just like I did years ago I'll steal they're Super STUPID Tree then they can no longer do anything to stop me from taking the Princess and ruling the world! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Plus! This time my Koopalings will help! Bowser said. They Iggy Koopa came from his room. He went down stairs into where Bowser was making his plans. "Dad! You woke me up!" he said "Oh sorry Iggy. Eh heh heh ehhhhhhh...." Bowser set off the alarm to capture the Mario Bros. "Get the plumbers and the Princess! The Yoshis' are mine!" he yelled. All of his Koopalings were sent out into the island and captured the plumbers and the Princess.
Chapter 1: Peril In Yoshi City
Yitoshi woke up startilingly. He had the same dream... again. Yitoshi's father had died not about a year ago and his mother had recently become ill, so Yitoshi turned to the closest thing he had to family. His friend Jymba, who was seventeen and was like a brother to him. Yitoshi's dreams grew worse as the days past (since his father died.) each one with the horrific memories of his fathers death. Each time in every dream he could see his father alive and he knew when his father was going to die, but there was nothing he could do to stop it from happening. He got out of bed and went to his mother's room. "Mom are you ok?" he asked. his mother replied slowly and almost silently. "I feel worse. Can you go get mommies medicine dear?" she asked. "Sure thing Mom. He picked up a bottle from the counter next to his mothers bed and placed it on a tray next to her. "Good boy, now eat breakfast and go play." she said. He ran down stairs and pulled out his favorite cereal. "Yoshis' And Oats." He put the bowl in the dishwasher, then he ran outside to play with Jymba. Jymba was a black Yoshi who usually wore his musty black cloak. He had known Yitoshi since he was eleven and since Yitoshi is only eleven now thats a long time! Yitoshi ran to Jymba's house as fast as he could. He rang the door bell and Jymba said " Oh hey Yitoshi I'll be our in a minute you just wait here." Yitoshi waited and finally Jymba came out. "Alright lets go to the market I hear they have some great new fruit!" said Yitoshi happily. "Ok let's go!" replied Jymba. The two of them ran off to the marketplace. When they got to the marketplace they saw a glowing Yoshi running from Bowser's castle. "Ruuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!" he yelled. "He calm down!" said Yitoshi "Ok ok." he said franticly "Why are you running anyway?", "Well you see I was just at Bowsers's castle and I was putting TNT in his cape, robe thing he always wears, but he caught me so I had to run as fast as I could and here I am!" "Ok. We are buying fruit want some?" said Jymba "Sure, but I'm broke Heh heh heh....." We will pay for you!: said Yitoshi. Thats what friends are for right?!?" Cool!" said The Glowing Yoshi. They walked around until they came to a booth where there was some melons. "Ohhhhh"they all said in uinison. "By the way," said Yitoshi, "whats your name?" He replied "I don't really remember. Ever since I was thrown into that tub of radioactive waste people have just called me Glowing Yoshi." "Ummmmmmm ok then Glowing Yoshi." said Jymba. "Oh yeah and there is something else going on at Bowser's castle when I went there." "Whats that?" asked Yitoshi. "Well I saw him send all of the koopalings to the native side of the island, but they came back with no Yoshis' they came back holding people!" he said in a sort of suprised voice. "Well thats impossible," said Jymba, " there haven't been people since the Mario Bros. came to-- oh boy we are in trouble." "Why?" asked Yitoshi and Glowing Yoshi. "Because if they captured the Mario Bros. that means they're going to try to take over the world!" (Bum, bum buuuuuuuummmmmm!!!!!!!) "Well this is very bad!" said Glowing Yoshi. If they are captured than you're right Jymba they could take over not just the island but all of Mushroom Kingdom!" They told some other Yoshis' but nobody beleived them. They didn't give up yet though. They kept telling Yoshis' and finally still no one beleived them. Today was the day! ChiYoshi the light blue Yoshi was easily excited and today she thought that she would die! She ran to her parents room and tried to wake them up but they wouldn't budge so she just left them alone. She ran down stairs and made herself some breakfast. Suddenly. "Bam!" The door was knocked off of it hinges. A Yoshi wearing a helmet said"I am the commander of the Yoshi Force. Your father must come back to duty... NOW!!!" "No wait don't take him! Not today please not on my day..." She cried "I'm sorry," said her father who had been woken up by the troops, "I should have told you it was today." She hugged him hoping that they would leave them alone, but they just pulled him out of her arms. "Why today?" she cried. She sat and cried for hours. Unfortunately it would only get worse. She went up to tell her mother. She ran through the door and when she was about to tell her, she noticed that her mother wasn't breathing. "No, no, noooooooo!!!! This isn't supposed to happen! Why today? Why today?" She cried for hours until the days past.They were still trying to get someone to believe them. It was the same for a while. Some people called them crazy, some called them psychos'. Until.... one of the koopalings could be seen overhead. Then all of them appeared. They heard two loud "Mamamias'!!!! Everybody heard it, and they all started screaming. Most ran inside other tried to get off of the island, but there was one Yoshi who it seemed like she didn't care for life anymore. "Hey why aren't you running?" asked Yitoshi. "Why should I? What is there to live for in a world that’s held captive by a mad-man?" the light blue Yoshi replied. "But isn't there anything to live for? To fight for? To preserve?" said Jymba. "No... There isn't." she answered. "I'm an orphan and I still want to fight for my right to be free." said Glowing Yoshi. "Yeah I'm practically an orphan too!" said Yitoshi. "I've been an orphan since before you were born and I still am not lost in the darkness.! Girl... find you light!" said Jymba kindly. "I've found my light," said Yitoshi," its you guys! You guys are my family!" said Yitoshi. "Yeah we all are!" said Glowing Yoshi. "So have you found your light? Do you want to be a part of our family?" asked Jymba. "Yes that would make me feel much better. Oh and my name is ChiBKey!" she said. They were off to find some equipment for they're upcoming journey (quite obviosly to save the Mario Bros.) but, when they went to the battleshop... "The whole place has been robbed!!!" exclaimed Chiyoshi. "Wow looks in pretty bad shape. Is there anything left that we can use???" asked Yitoshi. Glowing quickly turned on his glowing abilities and went loking in every nook and crany. "Nothing... wait whats this???" he pulled off the cover of something. It fell slowly and silently to the ground, as if to be catching every bit of air that passed through it. "It's a door!" he yelled back to them. They all followed him to where he pulled off the cover. "You're right its a door!" said Chiyoshi. "But to where?" Jymba wondered silently to himself. Yitoshi led, he slowly opened the door. They saw a dark basement. "Well *gulp* it looks like its your turn." Yitoshi said to Glowing Yoshi. Glowing turn on his power again, this time being careful only to give them what they needed, and them led by Yitoshi all walked slowly down the stairs........

Chapter 2: Destiny Awakened
Yitoshi got to the bottom of the stairs. The others followed. When they looked around, they did not see what they had expected. there on the floor was a black yoshi in a red T-shirt sleeping. "Whoa who is this guy?" Yitoshi said to Jymba. "I don't know but I dont like the idea that he is sleeping in a robbed place like this. How did he not get found?" Glowing slowly walked up to him. "Meh he's nothing special." They left the yoshi on the ground. Then they walked slowly over to the darkest farthest corner of the room. "Whoa!" said Yitoshi there against the wall were five weapons, a large gold sword, a silver bow, a platinum mallet, a copper spear, and an oak staff...... They all started wondering who all these weapons were made for, and why they were in the basement. Suddenely they heard movement by the entrance. Was it the dark grey yoshi? Did he see them? "Who are you.?" asked the grey yoshi holding two daggers on them. "We are Glowshi, Jymba, Yitoshi, and Chiyoshi. Who are you?" "I am Newt the family owner of the dump. Now can I help you?" He poked harder into Yitoshis' throat until it started to turn red. "We just need some supplies!" said Jymba. Please don't hurt him. "Well ok, I guess I can spare the ones I have left. Hahahahahaha... No one has been able to pick up those since the legendary Golden Yoshi was around! Lets see you get shocked like all the others. Hahahahahahahaha." "Golden Yoshi?" Yitoshi wondered. "Could it be the same one? The one who saved me?" he murmered quietly to himself. Thinking only of the Golden Yoshi he flung his arm at the sword
