Later the young women escaped from the hospital and into the city. Now, the real terror begins.
Review:
It was good to alright but it is surely "WORTH TO WATCH". This film is a semi-low budget indie film by David Cornenberg. The idea of this film is brilliant and elaborate.
The first time I saw this movie was in Hollywood video. I saw the DVD box and thought it looked interesting, and I am always interested in the disease like rabies (which drives animal crazy; but good that they now got a vaccine for it). But what I didn't know was that this movie was made in the 70s. The cover (semi-brown/modern) I saw in the video store and it looked like it was made in the 90s or even later.
I was WRONG.
I ordered the movie and it came in the mail. I popped it in and I was confused throughout the whole movie. The rabies that was spread by this girl came from her armpit (looked like a reproductive organ of some sort/obscene looking/something comes out and injects the virus directly into the victim when she gets them close enough (like a hug)).
I don't know what the deal is with the 70s...how a lot of strange organs or creatures came from the side of a human being. Maybe it was somewhat related to the fact that Adam's rib bone were ripped out to construct women (Eve). JUST MY LUCKY GUESS!
Movies like "God Told Me To" has a man/women like being with a reproductive organ (obscene looking) on his/her rib (side), "Basket Case" with Belial (his brother) attach to his younger brother on his side (rib) and more.
At the end of the movie, it is quite sad.
First, the young women had an accidental, and her friend were killed.
Second, She was severely hurt and disfigured (assumed)
Third, A surgery was done on her that she didn't have a say in.
Fourth, Getting confused of what is happening to her.
Fifth, Knowing somewhat that all the death in the city had something to do with her.
Sixth, Death
Rated R
Three out of Five Stars
