Plot Summary:
Six friends took a road trip to a closed-down amusement park. After they went inside, they discovered this "ride" (Dark Ride) is not any ordinary ride in a park.
Couples of years ago, a pair of teenage twin sisters were mutilated and brutally killed by a psychotic killer who lived in the ride/amusement park. His name is Jonah; he was a deformed child and was kept in the dark ride by his stepfather due to Jonahs' deformed appearances.
After the murders, the police had identified that Jonah was criminally insane; thus he was sent to a local psychiatric facility.
One night, Jonah escaped and was headed straight toward his home--the Dark Ride. Unfortunately, he was not alone (this took place where the six college students were still in the ride.)
REVIEW:
It was creepy! The killer in this movie are tall like Jason, and his face looked like he was burned. He also wore this child porcelain mask throughout the movie (which didn't really fit his face, the mask was a little too small for a grown man).
I think Jonah still think he is a kid; I don't think he ever REALLY grew up. His adopted parent adopted him and since he was deformed, he locked Jonah in the "Dark Ride" in the amusement park.
The strange part of all these is why did his adopted parent adopted him; knowing that Jonah's physical and mental state aren't normal (he was handicapped and his face were deformed.) That part of the story didn't really make any sense to me. Why would someone adopt a child, dislike him and lock him in a "scary" amusement ride?
The movie was great, but the character's lines were very CHEESY! Of course the blonde hiker with a cowboy hat (kind of reminded me of BABY from “House of a 1000 Corpses“) was a slut and has her own stashes. And of course the ones who is having sex is killed first; like the scene where the six friends separated in the ride and the blonde hike hiker is giving the rich guy (one of the friends) oral sex. Then her head was cut off, and the rich guy didn't realize this was happening and he took the head and said, "Come on baby, give me a kiss.". Then when he lift her face up, he realized that she has been decapitated. In my opinion, I think this was pretty cheesy. But exclude the actors' lines and acting; this movie is really something.
