Storyline:
A religious/ moral high school girl, Dawn have something that most high school girls doesn’t have;
A teethed vagina. Now, hitting her puberty, she must adventure through the world to find her
Conquer to her teethed vagina. Only one hero could please the Vagina Dentata in hopes for his
Penis’s sake; others will suffer the consequences of castration.
Review:
This film is extremely captivating and hilarious (on purpose.) The actors in this film was cast well and their acting is suitable for this film. The main character in the film is not pretty; but a standard all American girl.
This is good because there is quite a bit of nudity in this film; but all in good taste. Especially the scene, when Dawn is in front of the mirror looking at her bare body, touching and feeling herself. Since, she is not voluptuous or sexy. She just looks like a teenager looking at herself in front of the mirror nude. It looks very natural.
A lot of horror films has unnecessary nudity scene or they just put in the nudity scene to boost the movie sell. But this films, the nudity is crucial and it is shown in such a “slice of life” type of way that is looks real; but at the same time it is also hilarious.
As the storyline of this film progress; it seems more like a Greek quest (mythology quest) of a woman who is desperately seeking a hero to save her from her pain and suffering. In this case, the Vagina Dentata (A myth about a woman who has teeth in her vagina) is Dawn and she must seek her hero.
