I see by the pictures in the PDF file that the Deerfield choice seems to be without residential area.
What is the driving time DIFFERENCE between the site chosen and this one?
A further drive to a less populated area may be a better choice.
Look at the M.A.R.C.S. as an example.
Over a period of many years as construction encroached near their site, they moved to many locations. Now they are at the ASHTABULA county airport.
An extensive drive form Mentor but a remote flying site.
Maybe distance is better than convenient when in comes to site longevity?

I know there is a control line club flying at the county fairgrounds, maybe there is room for a radio control club too??????
