I'm soo~ tempted to start buying the manga, but I've got two problems: space in my bookshelf (as it's almost filled the top two shelves and the bottom two already have stuff in them XP) and me starting more series than I'm finishing. To this date, I've only completed three series, not including one-shots -- Alice 19, Only The Ring Finger Knows (3 novels and no word if there's gonna be more than one volume of the manga) and Kingdom Hearts (I know there's KH:COM and KH2, but I'm at least done with the first part)
Series like Full Moon wo Sagashite, Juvenile Orion, Gravitation, and Saiyuki are more than half done, but I either just get lazy to buy the rest (especially if I read the rest of it) and my tendency to start new series. XD; I've also got series that I have no clue how many I'm behind or how many more, like Shaman King (I'm at least 7 volumes behind) and D.N.Angel (It's gotten a little boring and I don't know how many more volumes there are before it's done...)

I think Only the Ring finger knows is finished after 3 Volumes.
And when you start buying the Ouran Manga... it could be a long going like DN Angel and Kingdom of hearts^^
At the moment is chapter 48 released in the lala magazine... so it should be around 12 vol. and it's ongoing.
I don't know if I'll buy the the PS2 game because I don't know how the La Corda d'oro games work on my PS2 (european code) and I'm not sure if the special software works.
I know the problem of all these long going manga series.... I try not to start new series but there a re so many good ones out like Love Venus, Shinshi Doumei Cross, Primo Passo, Hana Kimi, Demian Syndrom and much more.... and my bookshelf is full as well

The first one was only four volumes and KH:COM was only 2. With KH2, I dunno how long it's gonna be but I don't think it's gonna be more than 4-6 volumes I think.
Well, I could get my PS2 modded as I know a video game store in Chinatown that'll mod it, but I'm really scared to void my warrenty on it and it is my second one as my first one had internal damage... So, I just bought one on play-asia as they have a 20% discount on it right now.
I've heard of all of those series. Shinshi Doumei Cross it at around 6 or 7 right now and is ongoing I believe. Hanakimi, though complete in Japan, isn't fully released in English; out of the 22 volumes, only 14 or 15 have been published. And the other two, I have no idea about lengthwise. Oh gosh, I honestly think Ouran is a good investment. I mean, I've actually 'Lol'ed at Ouran, and I usually don't laugh when I read manga. And those little side things that aren't in the anime are always cute to read~
I really want Ouran Game, but my PS2 isn't japanese oriented, and I'm so not modding it or buying a japanese PS2. Maybe once I learn japanese and I'm in college or something, but at the current moment, I'm still only planning to attend con's and expand my manga collection in college.
By the end of this week, I'll have completed my Ouran set, I'm missing 3 and 4. I have the complete/4 volume set for Instant Teen: Just Add Nuts, I'm missing 7 volumes of Shaman King, but I'm not behind- I've got the latest volume, but I'm missing a whole bunch. The there's One Piece, I think I'm now missing only 6 of that, and I'm not even going to get started on how much Bleach I've got missing. xD;
I'm getting Shounen Jump Magazine though~ So I'll have Yu-Gi-Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh GX, a chapter of Dragon Drive, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. But yeah. :/ Don't think that counts~ _________________

Hana Kimi has 23 volumes. SDC has 33 chpters, now... so itm should be around 8 volumes.

Is it one of those CDs that comes with that slide thing or is it the one where you have to install it? Like some of the Swap Magic ones are like that. I had never heard of Ouran until my friend suggested that I watch it because "it would suit my taste." Seeing the PINK opening credits at first made me wary, but I stuck through the first episode and loved it. (Tamaki's blush is so cute!) After that, I was hooked.
I haven't read the manga, but as soon as I get enough money, I'll start buying the volumes. Everything just costs too much....
Fave characters in order: Tamaki, Haruhi, Mori, Hikaru and Kaoru, Kyouya, and Hani. (To be honest, Kyouya scares me sometimes when he's being all evil genius!Kyoya. Yet, I was stamped as his character in a stamping comm. Hmm...)

Well, I've finally watched it after my Japanese student told me to ^.^
And would have to go for Tamaki as my favourite character, only cuz he plays the piano, haha. The piece he played towards the end of the series was rather bittersweet but pretty. I also like the soundtracks with the chamber groups giving the wealthy feel to it and the group song they sing, 'Mata Ashita'? i think it is. Reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist's 'Goodbye' also by bones. _________________
@ Kazuki: Wow... haven't posted here in a while. XD; Yeah, I got the Ouran game a few days after it came out on the 20th, along with my Japanese PS2 and I'll have to say... I really am having an uber, uber hard time playing it as unlike La Corda where I can pick up and understand bits and pieces as I go along, I really don't understand this game at all.
That... and it also kinda bores me right now because you (the player) don't get to move a chara on the screen and you just make choices and such from what I've played. It's like a storybook more or less. Sure, you have to make choices in the La Corda games, but at least you do more than just that. XP Maybe if I knew more Japanese, I'd enjoy it a lot more.
So... here's what I think: if you know a decent amount of Japanese, go for it, but if you don't, I wouldn't recommend this game, unless you know someone who does and can help you play the game or is the kind of person who can pick up things in different languages very easily.
And with the CDs, I bought Len's and I've been meaning to put up the page for his album for a while now since I have the scans and such done, but... I keep forgetting to. ^^;;; And unless you have the most resent one that came out -- Shinobu's and Kanazawa's (they're both on that album), I already have the rest of them. I've just recently started watching the Ouran series, and it's pretty good so far. I just have trouble keeping up with the subtitles. Either it goes by quickly or I'm a slow reader. And sometimes I have to pause it to read the little translation notes at the top... But so far, my favorite character is Tamaki. He's funny and cute. ^ ^ _________________
