· Quote

Like Ouran and many series these days tend to have open-ended ending, which I don't know about you all, but it gets kinda annoying. Don't ya think so?

I really want a second season, but the chances are kinda slim as they're almost done with the concours and after that's over, what else is there? I mean, they could always do stuff from the manga that wasn't included, but still... I don't even know if there's even enough manga material for a second season.

I know with Ouran, there isn't, so for the time being, there won't be one. With La Corda, I don't know.. What are your opinions on it?

I doubt it. :/ Honestly, like you said, after the concur's, what more can they do but utter nonsense? But, then again, Ouran is basically 100% nonsense in general anyway.

I don't think there'll be a second season, the plotline isn't set in stone quite enough for there to be a second season. < <; It would be a fun idea, but I can imagine they'd greatly resemble fillers, and there's a good chance I'd probably end up not even watching them anyway, if they were like fillers. >.<

Ehhh? Am I the only one that likes fillers? >.< Well, not if there are fillers everywhere in the anime, only once in a long period of time, why not?

Anyway, yeah, I hate open-ended animes really badly. They annoy me because they only leaving me ranting about why the anime had such an ending. >.<

I'd also like a second season but if it's not going to be about the concours, what else could it be about? Umm...concerts?

Not sure about a second season, but I think it'll be a pretty much open ending where they're all "friends" ~-~

So it's already ended...but I hope that the manga continues on after the concours and goes into Game 2 territory so that a second season may come up! (Haha, how pie-in-the-sky is that??? Razz)

Perhaps they could use what happens in the second game for a new series?  This is coming from someone who hasn't read the manga or played the game though so I don't know if it could work.  I'm not too hopeful for one though because of the extra OVA on the dvd, so we'll just have to wait for that won't we?  Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind the ending at all but.. it was open! :p

I haven't finished watching the entire series yet, but my doubts of there being a second season are high. Besides, sometimes sequels to series ruin the whole thing. It's usually rare that sequels are better than the first.

Unless it's meant to be a sequel! (i.e. Cardcaptor Sakura, one of my first anime loves that I still like to watch. Smile)

*sigh* I really hope there is a second season. There is enough material for it, and I'm not a fan of open endings much. Even though I tolerated the open ending of Ouran, it's still not fun to have 2 animes I like end that way! Sad

By the way, Charcol, what's the OVA about? Is it on Youtube or anywhere else I can see for free?

I do believe they might produce a second season with the new character Aoi and just have another open ending XD

I really love this anime and I want them to have  2nd season. I don't know what they can do after the concours...maybe start something like what Full Metal Panic did and created Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. It's basically all fillers, but hey! It's better than nothing! Or maybe they can start something what like Prince of Tennis did. Another contest of some sort. ^_^

But it's a very slim chance so we'll all just have to wait and see. Lol.

But such an ending made me just want more. >.< I hate it when they do that. It's so annoying.

If episode 25 was the end, then 26 is the DVD special/ova about the beach/ another music camp.  SMS has subbed it but I think this news may have come too late, heheh. :p

Although a second season could be great, I don't see it happening.  It just doesn't seem popular enough/ doesn't appeal to the mass audience.  What a shame... we'll just have to collect the manga now ^.^

Lol. That sucks too.

I love this anime. That manga is cool too. I'm starting to collect what they have in english. I have up to v3 right now. xD But I'm also collecting other mangas so I can't buy that many plus my bookstore only had stock up to v3. xD

The OVA was funny, since they showed each guy's moment with Kahoko. although why they had to throw in a moment with Kanayan mystifies me (um, wouldn't it be gross to pair them? jk) although it was probably just a teacher-student thing.

I liked the Len moment although I have to admit that Kazuki and Kahoko performing at the park was cuter Very Happy
