Just curious, has anyone here seen the anime called Ghost Hunt?  It finished recently, around the same time as La Corda.

The title didn't really get my interest but I heard it was good so luckily I watched the first episode and now it's one of my favourites even though sometimes it freaks me out.. alone .. late at night.  Heheh, but it's a good series and I'd recommend it. =^.^=

Episode 25 is the final one but I'd like to see more, hehe.

Where would you get the manga from?  I've heard it's different from the anime and has extra parts so I'd like to read it but I don't usually purchase things over the internet.  Do you know any other ways I could get a copy?

I haven't seen all that much of this series, just episode 1, but I like it already. I'll probably download more of it in the near future, after I get a few series caught up on.

I know for the subs, I've found the links up to episode 23, I believe, on animesuki.com. It hasn't been licensed yet, so the links should still be there. As for RAWs, no clue where to find those. But like I said, I'll download them in the future, as other series have my first priority.

The full series has been subbed by Shinsen and can be found on AnimeSuki.  I think Shadow Dreams is doing it as well.  You could probably find the raws at Tokyo Toshokan <www.tokyotosho.com>, Saiyaman has released them I think.

As for the manga I have no idea, hehe.  Thanking you very much if you keep an eye out!

Ghost Hunt... Hmm... Can't say I really liked it at first, mainly because both of the main characters' personalites annoyed me, but I've finished the anime nonetheless. I haven't read the manga personally, but a friend told me the first five or so volumes strictly follows the anime. Not one of my favorites, but I'd still recommend it to anyone who's interested in supernatural mysteries.

The series was just licenced in the US by FUNimation. I've seen all the anime, but I still haven't finished the manga.

One of these days I'd like to read the original novels.

Hopefully maybe Tokyopop will release an english version of the novels since they've done that to Trinity Blood, but since Ghost Hunt isn't as popular maybe they won't.  It would be good if they did release more Japanese novels in English, seeing as Haruhi did so well and there's a wiki project dedicated to translating those novels.

On another note, FUNimation's licenced it?  Does that mean we'll be seeing a DVD release anytime soon?

I agree with you about the releasing of more english versions. :]

I hope they release a DVD. That would be awesome.

i really like this anime!!!

unfortunately, i wasn't able to watch all of the episodes. maybe about 5 episodes and they're not even consecutive. hmph! i missed all the blood and the ghosts...

the bright side is that i was able to read all of the manga. still, i'm not satisfied. the manga's all black and white! i was really looking forward to see the full color of the blood in the tub in one part of the series. Smile
