Okay, so the concur's are coming, up, so how are we going to do this?
First of all, we should predetermine the winners. I was kind of hoping that Kei would get second, so as not to break his tradition. :x
Mizuki can get last place for all I care. xDD;;

Then, there's themes. They should be able to fit all of the instrument's played, so we can't have a 'super happy joyful' theme, because Mizuki plays the harp, and that's not made for those kind of songs. :/ Otherwise, I don't have any preferences.
---
And lastly, there's order. I don't care at all about this, as I don't think this really matters.

I also want to ask how it's going to be judged. Each selection would have different winners right? I mean, the order can't always be the same, am I correct?
Well, we can have Kei second. I don't mind as long as Haruka gets third~ XD Seriously, she'll be really pissed if she gets below a three. XDD But if you really want to hurt her feelings, sure, put her fourth. She'll be ranting day and night about it. XD
Yeah! We should have a romantic one and a sad one! How about an angry one too?

Hm, that's something to think about too. And yeah, wouldn't it. I wonder how it works in the game... Hm~ With Ruika, it's most likely she'd win, but I'm still thinking on that. With Alexei, he'd be shocked enough to be in the concours, but I'm sure he wouldn't be happy to be last overall Against Ruika, he always was 2nd, but with other people... that depends. XD
For themes, yeah, that seems good to me.

I don't know, it'd be kind of unfair if both your character's got the highest spots. xDD *Not that I care, I was just kidding*

Does that work? Seiji's definetely not going to be last, so I'll stick Mizuki there~
Okay, so, for the first Concur's, I think it'd be best if it went in an order where all of my characters were lined up, and all of Icy-chan's characters were lined up. That way, we can finish it in three posts. How's that?

Yeah, sounds great with the lineup, it'll save a lot of time.
And the themes would be romantic, sad, reminisce...but what will be the order of winners in these themes?

We can decide those later~ Depending on how much we like the song we picked, we can do it like that, or something. < <;
I dunno~ In the end, it'll depend on how many times each person wins. My character's aren't going to be on top for any of them, so that sets in some leeway. (I've never liked having my character's win. It makes me feel all mary-sue.)

Hm, that lineup works for me.
For themes, that's only 3, so what could the 4th one be? We have:
Romance
Sadness
Reminisce
????
Hm~ maybe happiness, beginning (opening up), relaxation, hope and dispair (yes, those go together), the end?
And how 'bout the order for those? The hardest one should be last, I think. Like Rella said, how are we gonna judge this, the indiviual selections and the ranking for those? Grr, I really wish I understood how the scores were added up in the game (I know what makes them up, but not how much they're valued ^^; ). XD

^ How's that? I'm changing Kei's instrument to a vertical flute- a piccolo doesn't work with those theme's. ^^;;

You can switch those around Icy-chan, if you want, and Rella, you can move Haruka anywhere you want, as long as it's not in between our characters. ^^; Where the hyphens are, so to speak.

I think you mean the First Selection, as the concours are made up of four selections. I'm confused what you just wrote. Is it about the order or the ranking for that selection? My mind is boggled~ XP

Okay, the first list is the order of the themes for the concurs.
The second list is the order we go in in the first concur's.
Sorry, I thought it wouldn't matter if I put selection or concur's, considering there's only one concur~ ^^;;
(And beside's, concur means competition in french, so it still made sense.)

Ooh, yup, everything sounds great. ^^
Regarding the judging issue, why not make all three of us the judges? Since we're planning to let each other hear the others' piece or show the musical sheet, we can judge from those and see if it relates to the theme. We also have to plan it out since we already know the final order of winners. Isn't Ruika supposed to win first place for at least 2 of the selections and receive at least a second place for the other ones if she's going to win in the end?
I think this is the only part we have to figure out now since everything else is pretty much figured out already.

That works. Like Kanazawa said in the series, even if you did badly in one selection, you still could win it overall. If Ruika is going to win overall, she would have to win at least two, I think, like you said, Rella. But that also depends on how we do the breakdown of the scores. That's something else to figure out.
If we did each selection out of a certain number, that number being the perfect score per selection, the break down could work like this:
45% for technical
25% for song choice
30% for interpretation
Best score in each selection would be the following:
800 - 1st selection
1000 - 2nd selection
1200 - 3rd selection
1500 - 4th and final selection
EDIT: Here's a further breakdown:
1st Selection -
Technical: 360
Song Choice: 200
Interpretation: 240
2nd Selection -
Technical: 450
Song Choice: 250
Interpretation: 300
3rd Selection -
Technical: 540
Song Choice: 300
Interpretation: 360
4th Selection -
Technical: 675
Song Choice: 375
Interpretation: 450

The best score would go up as the selections passed. This idea is based off the game's scoring, but of course, I don't know how they scored each piece, so I interpreted it into something like this. What do you guys think?
