· Quote

So I've been playing the game for the past week and was wondering if anyone here is playing it as well. I really really like the game and very glad that I ordered the premium box because it is very much worth my money XDD. I highly encourage others to get the game if they have a PS2.

/shameless plug
I have a lot of stuff written on Corda 2 in my LJ if anyone is interested. I will definitely be writing more and is in the process of writing a (not-so)mini guide on the game.

Anyways, for those who are playing, what routes have you cleared so far? I don't want to ask which one was your favourite since I know I'll have a hard time picking *laughs* Anyone find parts of the story surprising because I know I did. I don't want to expose anything here yet in case someone hasn't seen it or something.

Definitely play the game if you are interested!

Well, I should be getting my copy soon (I asked them to do the split shipping as I didn't expect that delay for the artbook >>; ), so I should be getting it within the next few days. When I do get it, I dunno when I'm gonna have a chance to play it, but at the latest will be by Spring Break. XD;

I ordered the premium box some days ago.
so it shouldn't take much time until it's here.
I hope that I can play it on my PS2 because I'm from Europe
and the japanese system is protected. I bought a software hich is for NTCS
games so hopefully it works.

Because the game was released in Japan, unless you live in Japan, you have to import it. In other words, you have to buy it online. You can buy it on sites like play-asia or yesasia. Not only that, but you also need a Japanese or Asian PS2, a modded U.S. PS2, or one that has the swapdisk thing installed. With the last two, they WILL void your warrenty (if you have one) and I actually was going to mod mine, but I changed my mind and just bought a Japanese PS2.

And just in case you were wondering what the difference was between the Japanese and Asian PS2, they can both play the exact same games, but they have different region locks (for DVDs) -- Region 2 DVDs work on the Japanese PS2 and Region 3 DVDs work on the Asian PS2.

*reads thread*
I guess I can forget playing the game...I neither have a Playstation nor do I have the game. Actually I was hoping for a La Corda d'Oro computer game to be released (*is a dreamer*), but I think it will never come true...

Well, the first game as a PC version to it (as well as a PS2 and PSP versions), but I dunno if the 2nd game will have a PC version to it.

Heh, heh. The game isn't really that hard to play, though it did take me a little bit of time to get used to the controls and such. XP I really don't understand everything they say, but I can pick it up a hell of a lot easier than the Ouran game. XD Of course, now my brain's goin' crazy whenever I switch from the Japanese PS2 to the U.S. one (and vice versa) as the X and O buttons have reversed functions. XD;

Can anyone give some spoils about Tsuchiura's route?Many people usually aim for Tsukimori's, but I never heard about Tsuchiura's one. I'm still searching for the game though.

Do you know where I can get the PC version of the first game? I went to look for a PC game on google, but never found anything...

I actually have it on my comp, thanks to one of my friends giving me a copy of it ^^; of course it's been split into 8 parts as the game isn't small... I could send it to you, like through AIM/MSN/YIM, that is if you have a fast connection. If not, then... I don't know what to tell ya. ^^; Though... another option would be to upload it to sendspace or something so you can download it when you're around.

Besides that, you'll have to get something that'll join the .rar files together, like Hjsplit, and after that... unless you want to burn the game onto a CD, which in that case, I think you'll need the disk every time that you want to play the game. If you don't want to do that, then you'll have to get a virtual hard drive, like Daemon Tools. PM me with any questions or whatnot. :3

I don't care whether it would be in the PC, or the PlayStation, as long as I get the game >.< Although I'm pretty sure I'll have a hard time understand what they're saying. -laughs-

Worth the try, I'm sure. I'm ordering it as we speak. Or type.
