I just wanted to let everyone know our team total was $1,649! Nice job guys! Not to mention the large amounts of money that was put in Nick's purse by everyone. He raised over $300!!
Thank you to everyone who donated. Thank you to Connie for her great chairs that raised $130! And the Slater kids whose lemonade brought in over $15. And once again thank you to Dave Hunter for his union's donation and Mike Claxton for his great silent auction donation complete with a year membership to the club.
The prize for the most laps was not given out because they kept running out of paperclips... not sure why that mattered but it was still the general opinion of the crowd that CVR was the ringer for that prize with Bill's 158 laps which works out to be about 52miles.
I am off to bed now!! Thanks again, I had a blast!!! I'll post more later when I am more coherent. |
