Anyone planning on running the 30th annual Shamrock run in Portland on March 16th? ^They have a 5K, 8K, & 15K. It will be chip timed this year  I put a link to the website below.

I would love to do this event again because it is so much fun, very festive atmosphere plus I need to redeem myself from last year, however it is the same weekend as the 24 hour run here in town and I anticipate Bill will be once again carving his mark in the one mile loop over 100 times.
I do highly recommend the Shamrock to those who have not had to opportunity to run it. It is a rather large event so if you do go make sure you give yourself time to park and pick up your packet if you choose to do that the day of. Last year they had packet pick up the day before which was nice not having to stand in line. The only downside is you still had to stand in line for the t-shirt at the event, maybe they will change that this year too. ANYWAY... long story short... check out this race, it is fun! |
