Oh My God, I can't believe that you are trying to push this on me.  I'm hurt.  If anyone wants the truth about the goodwill trip feel free to ask me and I will set the record straight.

Well, you might be a CVR Member if, in mid march you see a ad for a  aprils fools 10k, and you think "I can probally do that", then in mid august you find yourself in the middle of Ronald, Washington aka Middle Of Knowhere at 4:00 in the morning in a car with rain bouncing off of the windows, waiting anxiously for her husband who has been running for the past 16 hours threw the woods so that you can join him for a small 25 mile trott.  CONGRATS BILL. and thank you KELI,  oh yea when I met them in march they were both dressed as fools.

two days after your marathon and you struggle to stay upright, but still look at running calendar to figure when your next race will be.

LOL!  I looked at the sky and thought, ah, I can run in a little rain.  um, 2 miles in MONSOON!  LOLOL!   ok, so I've never run in the rain before.  when it was just normal rain, it wasn't so bad but when the monsoon struck me I had just passed tamo so I detoured at the park and stood under an overhang from a building for about 5 min. then ran home in the rain (was still hard but not quite as hard as it was).

my shoes were filled with water and are still wet, lol.

if... you take first overall female in race and when you share your accomplishment, your fellow running partners ask how many other women actually ran the event with you.  (I admit is was fluke but humoring me would have been okay too!  Wink )
