There is a local 5k being held at Willow Grove park at 8 am.. The "Sand in your shorts 5k" beach run. 2/3 of the run will take place in the sand. This event supports the RAL cross country team to assist in helping kids with the new "pay to play" fee for the upcoming season.

For those who do not wish to participate in this event, there will be a group of runners meeting at 6:45AM at the covered picnic area in the park and will go around the Willow Grove loop prior to the event. A $10 donation is requested to help support the cause. |
