Here are two nice running moments this year, the first was during Winlock Egg Days 10k, i was running down a quite country road with woods on one side and homes on the other when a small deer ran out of the woods and ran down the center of the road for about 1/4 mile it was only about 25 feet from me, quite surreal. The other moment made me laugh, my wife and I were doing a century bicycle ride, a gentlemen needed a helmet and I just happened to have had a spare that day, he comes up and says the only reason he was riding is because his daughter was "running" the century ride, I said "running good for her" he then said "no not running she was running like she was the race director". I found that moment funny and will remember it for a long time. |
