Question

The study of God.

Question

Postby bodhitharta on Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:51 pm

You are finally in heaven. Tell me do you see Jesus as God finally or do you see Jesus at the right hand of God the Father?

In heaven all things will be as they are so will you see One God and His One Christ or will you see only Jesus as God?

I firmly believe that if I should die right now, I would see only Jesus. Maybe Enoch and Elijah too. They are the only people there with physical bodies. I am sure I would see everyone else in their spirit bodies, but until the resurrection of the saints, the only glorified flesh there is that of Jesus Christ, and maybe the other two or three that were translated.

Jesus' place of authority is at the right hand of the Father. But if you are asking if He gets up and walks around--Yeah! LOL There is plenty of description of the presence of God in Scripture for us to assume that God also has a physical presence or manifestation and we will be able to behold Him in all His power and glory without being destroyed ourselves! Amen!

We will see God as He is, for we shall have new, spiritual eyes.

During his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, "God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8). So that means, yes, we'll see God. But Jesus also said, "God is Spirit" (John 4:24). By this he meant that God the Father doesn't have a body. But Jesus, God's Son, does. And because Jesus is God himself, to see Jesus will be to see God.
Blessings,
Debbie

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

John witnesses where Christ is Given all authority in Revelations also yes He is God in the heavens next to the Father seated and interceding for us.
When you pray and are fortunate to be in His presence you won't see a face but you will know when your there. It takes belief and total death to self and surroundings to be in His presence. Only then do we see his true plan and learn His will for us and the word just comes alive to you and Real prayer starts to take over because then your in His will and you begin to pray in His will. David (!praise:
Gal 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

So, if he is God in the heavens next to the Father seated and interceding for us how many beings would we actually see? Your description allows for us to see 2, is that right?

I Corinthians 13:12~13
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

This is the precise answer my 7 year old gave me when I asked her what she thought God would look like if she were to go to Heaven.
Love, the ultimate law. To follow Christ is to Surrender to Christ is to Live as Christ is to Love as Christ!

Dear Bodthiharta, Now your questions are just plain stupid! Bla! Bla! BlA! give it a brake. You now we believe there are three Gods. Yet you intentionally ask a question which states there is only one God, yet again this is fueled by your warped theology. The question does not deserve being answered.

In heaven, I believe I will see the Father, and his Son sitting on his right side as it is written.

In 1Cor. 15:24-28, it reveals that when the Son offers up the kingdom unto his Father, he will relinquish the authority of the Godhead, for there can only be one God. And then it says this.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

There is only one God, but the Father begat his Son a life unto himself. John 5:25 Jesus was of the Father, the expressed image of the Father. The Father gave him the fullness of his Holy Spirit without measure. So it is not robbery to call the Son God. For even the Father refers to his Son as God in 1Hebrews.

So Jesus is of the Father, but is not the Father. For how can the Son be the Father and also be subject unto himself as written in verse 28?
Unless a man is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Many today try to say that being born again and being saved are not one in the same. Do not be deceived beloved. For the devil is like a lion, seeking who he may devour.

Heed the Word of God and beware of the doctrines of men.
