 This morning we woke to find, we think, 6 new little faces!
I had to move their cousins around to try to count them, and they are so tiny. They look healthy  and seem to be moving around more than Lilly's pups did at first.
We got Willy separated ASAP! We should have separated him a few days ago, but we thought we had a little more time  . Hopefully, we got him out in time. We didn't hear that lovely mating chirp, so we're hoping!
All of the babies(Lilly's and Milly's), are nesting together. They are so cute!  The older ones seem excited to have the newbies.
It's amazing how much difference there is in a 2 1/2 week period! The 2 1/2 week old pups look like tiny, fuzzy grownups already!

I'm in the US, Pennsylvania, to be exact. Not much known about degus in this area. Get funny looks when we mention that we have them! We love our 3 degus and learn more about them everyday. |
