 Hi all. Just after advice. I have seen in pets at home a toy that is made with coconut shells and was just wondering if this is safe for my degus. There is no coconut inside, just the shell and some other wooden chew blocks. Thought i could hide some herbal treats and readigrass inside for them to rummage in.
Thought you knowledgable lot would know!

Coconut shells are fine and my guys love them, they love to pull the hairs off plus they seem to last ages one lot has had there shell for a year so good value for money too

Yes mine love them as well they are used to sit on, in, to chuck,
pluck and chew

it sure does, i've got up this morning and its half shredded, bless them. got to get the girls one now. have you got any other natural ideas that i can put in? |
