I know they should get unlimited hay but I was wondering about how much will one degu eat in a week? |

To be honest, I think it varies. I don't think any week is ever the same, my two scoff loads one day and just munch now and again others.
So long as they always have a supply, they'll be happy

I agree, every degu varies some of mine eat loads and some take days to get through a pile with the exception of certain types of hay and grass 
As long as they are getting some hay then its fine, i'm always happy if i need to refill the hay balls at the end of the week and they take a good handful if not two

Okay, sounds like one little bag of hay would last a good while then. I was just trying to figure out how much I should buy at one time.
I'm used to feeding rabbits and guinea pigs who eats loads of the stuff. |

I got a big bag when I got my boys in July, and it's just about to run out now, so it should last a while
