Hi
Not really a concern but just curious, I know degus sleep on top of each other but does the most dominant sleep on the bottom or top? Nippy always sleeps on top of Yorkie, never the other way around. Neither appear to be dominant and they get on famously.

Mine alternate between who sleeps on top. Its mostly Remy though, but Emile is dominant. He'll shove Remy out of the way for food or drink and Remy warbles at him in disgust. |

Oddly enough Nippy is the largest so poor Yorkie is being squashed although he doesn't seem to object. Maybe it's just down to preference then. |

I've noted the more dominant ones sleep nearer the top unless its freezing then they are at the bottom as why should they get cold  But it can vary but its mainly the dominant ones who bagsy the top spot. I noticed this more with my foursome as they have more of a social hierarchy compared to my pairs

With my two, Slick always without fail, sleeps on top of Bash and Bash is the dominant one.
It's quite funny sometimes too, because Bash is on his back and all you can see is legs, because he's half the size of Slick, lol.
